I always had an awareness of God and a belief in God even as a young child, but didn’t come to know who God was until I was in my thirties. He was just some big scary unknown God in the sky. Through a most unexpected source I received an invitation to a Bible study and a whole new world opened up for me as I discovered who this God was I claimed to believe in. I have not been the most apt pupil but I have been constant, and have come to know that God’s plan is the perfect plan.
Through financial necessity I have reinvented myself several times, from becoming a stock broker to most recently interior design. A few years ago the Pastor of my church discovered my background and asked me to become involved in the Drama Ministry at my church. Though I was reluctant to enter back into the arena of acting and wasn’t sure why God would be calling on me in this manner, I felt that to say no was tantamount to saying no to God. My church sent me to the Willow Creek Arts Conference and it was there I rediscovered and remembered the love and the joy that came from performing, even better than that it was in the service of God……WOW.
The Christian productions I have seen recently have inspired and motivated me to enter back into the field of acting. I believe God has been opening doors and telling me to walk through them. I have asked God to not let me run ahead of Him but to keep me walking closely behind Him. With that in mind I am writing to you and enclosing pictures and resumes.
